This song was written by Pierre-François for his girlfriend. It makes use of classical counterpoint, something that he studied extensively.

Sometimes me and Pierre-François compose together in order to get inspiration from each other. This piece was started by him and finished by me. It's a joy to play live and has a definite 'pop' feel to it.

B-Y-You
A friend of Pierre-François told him she got a new job and felt bored having to ride her bike to work everyday. So he wrote her this: a lovely picture of a girl, floating through the air on a bicycle.

By Heart
This is a rock tune that has to be played 'by heart' and also from the heart. In our concerts it's sometimes featured as a knockout song!

Inmost
Usually i like to do my composing in the middle of the night. This bossa-nova is about trying to look into yourself to see what is there.

Azur
A 5/4 tune that sounds almost like fusion. I love the colours that Pierre-François project in his solo.

Ballade Pour Une Pâquerette
This is dedicated to a daisy. A flower that brutally gets its leaves torn off by someone trying to find out whether the object of their affection loves them or not.

A Mon Amour
One of our signature tunes, 'A Mon Amour' was written for an ex-girlfriend. It always starts with improvised solo-piano and it evolves every time we play it.

Berceuse Pour Maëlise
Pierre-François played this solo piano piece in one of his recitals during his studies at the Royal Conservatory and made most people in the audience cry. Yes, including me.
